My name is Rosslyn Lahey, Owner and Director of Roz Lahey Accounting.
I worked as an accountant with Jack Storey and Associates for more than 18 years before purchasing a small bundle of clients from Jack to establish my own practice in Acacia Ridge. Since starting out in 2005, Roz Lahey Accounting has developed into a successful practice from client growth based solely on referrals from satisfied clients.
I pride myself on being a Fellow of the National Tax and Accountants Association and a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants. I also hold Registration as a Tax Agent and have become a Commissioner for Declarations. I find this last service very handy for my clients.
I am passionate about servicing my clients with great emphasis on quality and sound advice while maintaining high ethical standards. I have worked with many of my clients for more than twenty years. During our professional relationship I have seen teenagers grow to adults, get married, have children and mature to successful business people. Because of our long-standing, trusted relationships, I am pleased to say I regard many of my clients as friends. We have taken a long journey together.

Tracey BoydOffice & Client ManagerTracey has worked with Roz for more than 20 years. Her knowledge of the client base and Australian Taxation Office (ATO) administration is an asset to the business. Tracey’s long-standing relationship with Roz Lahey Accounting means she has built enormous trust and confidence with our clients. Tracey is responsible for all the bookkeeping and efficient running of the office. When Tracey is not at work, she enjoys her five grandsons and living a country lifestyle.
Don MedagamaAccountantDon joined Roz Lahey Accounting in May 2012, with more than five years experience as an accountant in Australia and internationally. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Accountancy at Griffith University in 2009. He is currently furthering his studies to become a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). Don has a good knowledge of small to medium entities and a hands-on approach to ensure clients are managed with their compliance and tax minimisation planning. Don enjoys travelling and sport when he is away from work.
Rachel PharaohAccountantRachel joined Roz Lahey Accounting in June 2014 with 10 years experience as a public practice accountant. Rachel has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, St Lucia. She has built her tax and financial accounting knowledge base, while dealing with small to large entities over a wide range of different occupations and industries. Rachel also has a solid background within the various accounting and bookkeeping software systems to allow hands-on assistance to both colleagues and clients alike. Rachel and her husband spend their free time on various sporting sidelines for their two young boys.
Lisa SouthamOffice & Client AdministratorLisa is the first person you will talk to when you call the office. Her friendly and easy-going nature shines through in all interactions with our clients. Lisa is responsible for all office administration tasks and is therefore the first person you talk to when you contact our office, either on the phone or off the street. Lisa is currently completing a Certificate IV in Business Administration. When Lisa is not at work, she is heavily involved as the President of South Sunnybank Rugby League Club and running after two teenage sons.
