At present their mission is to have a Liberty Swing installed in the Robelle Domain at Springfield Lakes. This has the Ipswich Council approval and will hopefully be completed by the end of this year. This has been a great challenge and by the time it is installed has been two years in the planning. What an achievement from such a dedicated team.
Congratulations to the team of Car 1718.
- For the last five years Roz Lahey Accounting has sponsored two boys, both from Zimbabwe. Through sponsorship, the Roz Lahey Accounting team hope to make a lasting impact and positive change on the lives of the two boys.
- Roz is a passionate dog lover and has been fortunate enough to have amazing dogs who’s loyalty was and continues to be second to none. For this reason, Roz Lahey Accounting donate regularly to the RSPCA to help other dogs and animals that don’t have the same love and warmth shown to them.
Smart Pups Assistance Dogs is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. They specialise in providing trained service dogs to assist children with special needs. Their goal is to improve the quality of life of children with autism and seizure related syndromes through training their dogs in ‘task specific’ skills. Their Smart Pups reduce stress levels in children and have a profound effect on the day-to-day lives of the child and family. These positive changes continue as the bond and relationship between child and Smart Pup grows over time.
I have seen first-hand how extremely intelligent and trained these very special family members are. The cost of preparing an assistance dog for a family is over $25000. At Roz Lahey Accounting we encourage everyone to get behind this very special charity. It really does make a difference to a special child’s life.
